The Taste of the Danforth is Canada’s largest street festival, celebrating both GreekTown’s heritage and the multicultural nature of the City of Toronto. The Festival is divided up into five Zones. This includes three stages — the Danforth Showcase World Stage focuses on eclectic international and local talent, the Greek Stage focuses on the GreekTown heritage of the area, and the Celebrity Stage features mainstream talent. We also have a Sports Zone featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Argos, the Raptors and the Toronto FC. Finally, the Kids’ Fun Zone will feature upcoming Hollywood blockbuster films. There will also be a number of food exhibitors, local restaurateurs and retailers with sampling tables, as well as a Beer Garden.
