We’re celebrating a summer of incredible programming and giving visitors the chance to explore our two new Community Arts Space installations alongside our permanent collection with a week of free admission.
Opening on August 23, visitors can explore a series of sculptures by artist Louis Esmé throughout our galleries as part of the exhibition Maldewin Weskijinu / Blood Soaked, a Museum-wide installation of eight distinct clay areas representing the eight Mi’kmaqi districts. On our Outdoor Plaza, visitors can interact with I wanna dance with some body by jes sachse, a series of three ramps that reflect on how people interact with the architecture of access.
