Members of Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer loyalty programme can now use their miles to earn and redeem points when flying with Scoot and Tigerair.
As previously reported (see news, January 27), Krisflyer members can redeem their miles for vouchers to travel with Scoot and Tigerair, or to purchase selected products offered by either low-cost carrier, both of which are owned by SIA.
Krisflyer has now revealed the three redemption rates available: 3,200 miles equals a voucher worth $30 (Singapore dollars); 5,300 miles equals $50; and 10,500 miles equals $100.
Singapore Airlines has confirmed that Krisflyer members will be able to earn miles on Scoot and Tigerair flights later this year.
Lee Wen Fen, SIA’s senior vice president marketing planning, said: “We are constantly working to enhance the benefits of the Krisflyer programme. These new partnerships will provide our members with even more ways to use their miles across the SIA Group’s portfolio of airlines.”
