Airlines raising charges

Philippine Airlines and Cebu Air Inc. asked the Civil Aeronautics Board to approve higher fuel surcharges on their passenger tickets.

A fuel surcharge is added to each ticket to offset increases in jet fuel prices, an airline’s highest expense after labor.

Cebu Pacific, in its petition, asked for an adjustment of at least $4 on its Manila-Busan, Manila-Incheon, Cebu-Busan and Cebu-Incheon routes from $54 to $58. The petition is scheduled for hearing on Sept. 25.

PAL is asking for $170 for each sector from Manila to Europe. The European Union in July lifted the ban on PAL, which signals the westward expansion of the Ramon Ang-led carrier’s international route network.

PAL is scheduled to return to European destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Rome and Madrid before the end of the year. Regulators are set to hear the petition on Sept. 24.

Cebu – Manila – Clark – Macau in One Day

原本是要搭乘菲鹰航空从宿务飞克拉克机场转宿务太平洋航空班机飞澳门,但由于菲鹰航空被并入菲律宾航空,原有的飞克拉克航线被取消,只能换成宿务飞马尼拉的航班,而且航空公司不安排交通前往克拉克,一切要我自掏腰包解决,行程立刻吃紧。

一早就出门赶飞机。从宿务去机场最佳交通方式就是打的。宿务的司机一般都比较老实,会主动打表计费。

进入机场大楼需要出示机票。这是菲律宾很多机场都有的一项安保措施。

宿务机场算是比较老旧的,也不大,运行效率比马尼拉机场好多了。

菲律宾航空航班延迟起飞。还好我克拉克-澳门的航班是晚上的,时间应该够。
