非洲大陆的西北角Tangier是摩洛哥北方门户，和西班牙隔海相望，距离非常近，渡轮航程仅1小时，所以有大批西班牙游客造访。Tangier见到游客最常说的就是西班牙语，另外法语基本也都会，会英语的也比摩洛哥其他地方多，这与Tangier的历史分不开。
摩洛哥沦为法国保护国之后的第11年，公元1923年，法国同意与其一战盟国共享Tangier，西班牙、葡萄牙、意大利、比利时、荷兰、瑞典、英国纷纷来此设立外交使团，毒品、走私、间谍、娼妓泛滥。
1956年摩洛哥独立后，Tangier就失去了昔日的繁华，许多殖民建筑现在也明显破败了。
Rabat Ville Train Station is very modern with escalators and free toilets. The restrooms are located on the first floor(above the ground floor). The ground floor has a restaurant and three banks that can exchange foreign currency. The ticketing counters, departures and arrivals are all underground.

Kasbah博物馆是Tangier最主要的旅游景点之一，但展品标识没有英语，只有法语和阿拉伯语。

Tangier老城Medina南端有个菜市场，山珍海味在这里汇聚，例如野兔、野鸡，各种的鱼。里面甚至有几家小吃店，估计都比较便宜。
