Tim Ho Wan Restaurants, Singapore

Tim Ho Wan is a Chinese dimsum restaurant chain that originated in Hong Kong.

In 2009, Mak Kwai-pui, formerly a chef of three-Michelin-starred restaurant Lung King Heen, opened a 20-seater dim sum restaurant in Mongkok. Tim Ho Wan would eventually earn a Michelin star of its own in the 2010 Hong Kong and Macau Guide, a distinction which some have stated was a move in response to the criticism that the Michelin Guide was “elitist” and “out of touch with local tastes.” In 2015, its Sham Shui Po, North Point and Tai Kok Tsui branches had all received one Michelin star. Since then, the restaurant has been dubbed as “the world’s cheapest Michelin-star restaurant.”

Tim Ho Wan began expanding overseas in 2013, with the opening of its first international location in Singapore’s Plaza Singapura. It also expanded to the Philippines, Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.

干净简约的客房很小，不容易拍照。一张床、高清平板电视、免费高速Wi-Fi。每间房只能睡一个大人（可加一名12岁以下儿童），但也提供联通客房，让一家人睡一起。

Balestier Market and Food Centre, Singapore

Balestier Market and Food Centre原本是一个菜场，日本殖民统治时期是一个配给中心，解放后回归市场本质。新加坡政府很希望把沿街贩卖的小贩都集中到这里，但一直不太成功。后来市场翻修后反而衰败，商家大幅减少，顾客也就纷纷转移到附近另一个市场购物了。最近这几年这里转变为了美食广场。

档口数量不很多，但基本类别都有，包括印度餐、（新移民开设的）中国菜、泰国菜、日式套餐、甜品、沙拉、杂菜饭，还有好几家贩卖新加坡当地特色的中式美食，汤、粥、油豆腐、肉骨茶、海鲜….什么都有。

没有空调，所以更适合用晚餐。附近有很多平价酒店，很多想省钱的游客都住这里。距离孙中山纪念馆也较近，如果您不住附近也可以在参观孙中山纪念馆以后顺路前来用餐。美食广场所在马路上还有好多家其他著名美食名店。
